What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” The word Reiki translates to Universal (Rei) Life Force or Energy (Ki). This is the Spiritual energy that flows through The Universe and flows through us. If this life force energy is low it increases the chances of feeling stress and becoming ill. If it is high then it enables our mind body and soul to be healthy.

What Is Crystal Therapy?

Each crystal type constantly vibrates at a particular frequency, unlike humans whose frequency fluctuates throughout the body. When crystals are placed on and/or around the body the body’s frequency is adjusted according to the crystal used. The vibrational frequency / energy of crystals can therefore be utilised in Crystal Therapy work to bring the body’s energy system into alignment.

WHAT HAPPENS
During A Crystal Reiki Session

1. INITIAL CONSULTATION – We will have a brief 5-10 minute discussion to establish your own personal needs and goals Whether you need an overall energy balance or to work though a traumatic event in your life. Every need is considered important at Gyan Holistics because it is important to you. During the consultation the session structure will be explained to you and any questions you have will be addressed.
 2. THE THERAPY – During  a Crystal Reiki session crystals are strategically placed on and around the body to form an energy grid or circuit that works with your personal needs. The practitioner then energises the grid by activating and charging the crystals with Reiki energy. Once the grid is energised it is left in place to support the healing process. During this time you will receive Reiki healing along your body’s main energy centres – also known as Chakras. During this time Reiki energy runs through the practitioners hands and intelligently flows to the recipient to where it is most needed. This energy helps to bring harmony, relaxation and restore balance, creating the optimum environment for healing to take place
 3. THE WIND DOWN – By the end of the treatment you will be totally relaxed and it is not uncommon to be asleep by this time. You will be gently brought back to the present and given a glass of water and grounding sequence to assist in you in feeling stable. You will then be given a chance to talk about your experience and be given feedback from your practitioner and any follow up advise.

Location Is Never An Issue With Our

DISTANCE HEALING SESSIONS

All one on one sessions take place in Beeston, Nottingham UK. However, location is never an issue with the distance healing / remote healing option which enables sessions to take place virtually in your own home, vacation spot or even in your hospital bed via Zoom or Whatsapp. Being in a familiar environment can help you to relax and these sessions are just as effective as an in person session because they bypass the limitations of time and space – the effectiveness of which is backed up by the scientific laws of quantum physics. Distance healing became increasingly popular during the Covid lockdown period. At that time it was the only option for most people. Since then this option has grown exceedingly in popularity.
